Hedkandi Present Disco Heaven : The Stereo Reunion

Hedkandi returns to Newcastle for an unforgettable day-and-night celebration of classic Kandi anthems, live musicians, spectacular performers and pure Disco Heaven.

More than 25 years ago, it all began at Stereo. Newcastle became the first city to embrace Hedkandi with a legendary weekly Sunday party, followed by unforgettable events at Foundation, Beyond, Digital and venues across the city.

Now, Hedkandi is coming home.

This official Stereo Reunion will take over the whole of AVEIKA, bringing together the original energy, music and glamour that made those parties so special.

A Full-Venue Hedkandi Takeover

Expect a main room filled with classic Disco Heaven anthems, a complete Hedkandi production, live musicians and performers, plus a dedicated classics terrace featuring some of Newcastle’s best-loved local DJs.

The takeover includes:

  • A full Hedkandi show in the main room

  • Daytime music on the outdoor terrace

  • A dedicated VIP balcony

  • Live vocalists, saxophone and percussion

  • Disco Heaven classics from afternoon until midnight
